4 Top Tips for a Super Healthy Beard and Skin

Growing a beard is a right of passage. And as hard as it can sometimes be to grow one, maintaining one is often harder. But it doesn't have to be. Maintaining a healthy, comfortable and stylish beard is actually easy once you know how.

The most important thing is to keep the hair and skin clean, healthy, soft and comfortable - everything else will follow! So here are my 4 top beard and skin health tips.

Beard Shampoo

1) Work out a cleaning schedule that works for you. You don't need to wash your beard with soap every single day. I generally recommend using a soap or shampoo in your beard every 2-3 days and washing WELL with warm water on all other days. (Of course, if it needs a deeper clean then do it as often as is needed!)

2) STOP using regular hair shampoo and switch to a specialist and natural beard shampoo/soap. Regular shampoos and soaps strip the natural oils and dry out the beard hair and skin and can cause beard dandruff and itchiness. 3) Add a beard oil to your daily routine. After washing your beard add just a couple of drops of beard oil and massage through. This will moisturise the beard hair and the skin underneath keeping it soft and gentle!
